“Boreas Falls” oil on Russian linen

The play on light and shadows gives the viewer a sense of warmth and coolness from opposite sides of the falls.  One can almost hear the water rushing over rocks.  You can be sure that the artist, Michael Ringer, was there with his easel capturing the scene.
